Nino-introduction

Hello everybody,
I got wonderful support from forum, for what I want to thank Axel as well as all members of forum. Now when I am a bit more relaxed, I decided to introduce myself, also want to appologize if it is quite long. My name is Nino(39y), I am from Georgia(Tbilisi), have very beautiful large house in Tbilisi on the top of mountain, with large garden with roses, which will be flowering now(first time without me)which I miss anormousely... We have also 3hectars of wine yeards in Kakhetia, in wine region of Georgia, and 2hectar peach garden, when it is flawering it is absolutely beautiful. We make our own wine, which is called saperavi. I did study medicine, did work as a pathologist, than I was intrested in palliative care, worked in Canada, learned a lot about pain, was especcially interested in pain management, but as I merried austrian man and since travel all the time, I gave up my carier and should say I am not sorry at all. My husband, as I already told is austrian, therefore many years I am traveling nearly every month between Vienna and Tbilisi, and anyhow we are traveling around the world a lot about 4-5 times a year, so we had quite a busy life. We have one dauter 14 y.old, she is going in Georgian school, is with my parents at the moment, her I miss especially, last times she was already travelling with us, but... Since february 2009, after quite a bit of investigations I was diagnosed with MH 1a or 1b stadium, with some B symptomatic. That is the reason for me to stay in Vienna since, as I am getting chemotherapy. I already had two zycles of ABVD, have some side effects, but it is managable. Before and after first infusion I was very scared, in most of the cases I did know the answers on my questions, when I wrote in the forum, but I felt absolutely good when anybody answered me, it did give me much braveness to know that I can ask anything and people with the simmilar problems will react on my stones. I was really very stressed, felt alone far from my country, far from my mother, my daughter... my husband was so confused, i did not feel his support, was not easy to stand it all, now we all are more quite, we take things with understanding as they come, we all did grow through my illness, and you did help me through.
I have to have two more zycles of ABVD, probably also Radiation therapy, so it was planned.

I will hope that sometimes I will be healthy again by help of god, but whatever happens I will remember Axel, Marc, Julci,salita(Sarah), speedy, Conny, Nusch, thank you.

hello nino,

nice to hear from you. You and your family are on the right way.
Life changes when cancer gets into a family. The way you take is a normal way and now you know, that there is a light on horizon and everything will be fine in future. We also had this way and the forum help us a lot.

It must be very nice in your country and when you speak from your family and the flowering we read that you miss it very much.

Nice to read and a good fight until you finish the therapie.
